We do, of course, have the final installation of Champions League last 16 first leg games tonight. There’s a repeat of last year’s final between Inter and Bayern Munich, whilst French powerhouse Marseille take on walk-away leaders of the Premier League, Manchester United.

As per yesterday, here’s a roundup of the best the blogosphere has to offer on tonight’s matchups. Followed, of course, by your prediction league form.

Actually, before I get going, here’s a great (we’ve come to expect nothing less!) post from @zonal_marking on last night’s Copenhagen v Chelsea fixture. Oh, and while we’re there, here are some highlights from Lyon v Real Madrid and Copenhagen v Chelsea (from @caughtoffside)

Inter v Bayern poll by SerieAWeekly
@SerieAWeekly are running with all the team news for tonight’s game, plus a poll on the outcome. The game, of course, holds significance in being a repeat of last year’s final and I imagine Bayern will go there with a point to prove, particularly against a much changed Inter side. Jon Carter, a previously unknown author (well, for me anyway. Is that bad?!)
I’ll hold my hands up and admit that hadn’t heard of Jon Carter before, most likely because he’s not on Twitter. However, thanks to the recommendation by @andybrassell, I’m not richer to the degree of one quality football writer.

And OK, I agree, it’s not technically a blog. But this preview piece on Marseille v Manchester United by Mr Carter over at @ESPNSoccerNet is well worth a mention. Notably for being much more than just telling me United have some injury concerns.

A stats feast from Paul Seery
Now I have heard of Paul! Mainly due to his incredible statistics provision. And obviously, that he’s on Twitter (@paulseery). He’s just drawn to my attention his latest piece, a preview for Inter/Bayern, a delightful data based insight awaits you here
